Servicing

ON-SITE INSPECTION, SERVICING AND REPAIR OF MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT

Inspection

This consists of a visual inspection only. The purpose of a visual inspection to identify whether work equipment can be operated, adjusted and maintained safely, with any deterioration detected and remedied before it results in a health and safety risk. A written report will be done before any work is carried out.

This will be a L.O.L.E.R or P.U.W.E.R inspection.

Servicing

general service would depend on the equipment type but would usually consist of a visual inspection followed by grease points refreshed, lubricants and filters checked or replaced, repairs carried out where possible, adjustments made, and a written report of the work carried out or required.

Repair

Replacement of worn or defective parts, ensuring they are up to the manufacturer’s requirements and specifications. We also offer Trailer Inspection, Service and Repairs for all commercial and non-commercial Trailers excluding HGV trailers

What's Involved:

  • Assess the pallet trucks on that site and documenting their condition.
  • Advise which trucks are deemed to be economically repairable, serviceable and safe to use
  • Wherever possible advising what replacement parts are required
  • Advise you of the cost.
  • Once a price is agreed the engineer will replace any worn or damaged parts.
  • A final adjustment to the pallet truck.
  • Final safety check to confirm the truck is safe to use.
